Some might think that trust operates within music teaching teams as it does in other faculties - this is not always the case. Andrew is at the forefront of demonstrating how different backgrounds, workloads and even different theoretical systems in music can become obstacles to developing trust within music teaching teams.
His current research seeks to identify the levels of interpersonal trust in music teaching teams, and some of the pressures that impact on those interpersonal relationships.
Andrew has developed presentations and workshops which can assist music teachers to better understand how trust operates within music teams. In his workshops, Andrew discusses the value of trust and promotes dialogue as an essential part in establishing trust.
